Today, I want to pay tribute to a great man and true servant who went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 8th as a result of a car accident. Leonardo Cruz was an exceptional man of the Spirit who was a highly respected pastor to pastors, serving as a superintendent in the Methodist Church in Cuba. I shall never forget the times of praise and worship in the Manzanillo church and the great joy expressed in the music and dancing and the profound love that Leonardo had for all the people. I felt that he was a true kindred spirit - a man who lived to help, love and encourage the people of God. Today, I want to thank God for Leonardo. I thank the Lord for the privilege of knowing him, and for allowing me to spend five days in Cuba with Leonardo, learning more of what it is to truly love God and His people. I will miss you my dear friend.
