How we need leaders today! But of course, not people who are leaders in "name only," or who wear the right costume, as the cartoon to the right demonstrates. Leaders are people of influence - whether that be groups of five, ten or one hundred people! As John Maxwell has written, "He who thinks he leads, but has no followers, is only taking a walk" (taken from The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, p. 20).

Ever had an expression you said a lot and thought you made it up; ONLY to find out that some author type actually coined it. Well that's what I'm feeling right now. But even if I didn't make it up, Maxwell is totally bang on. As is your post!
